New to The Common Dog? Enrolling for Daycare or getting a reservation for Boarding is quick & easy
All dogs must be up-to-date on the following vaccinations:
All dogs playing in our daycare groups must also be spayed or neutered by 12 months. You can still board your dog if he/she hasn’t been fixed, but your dog must be hand walked and can’t play in the park with the other dogs (there is an additional daily charge of $20).
Please ensure we have your veterinarian’s contact information and we will be happy to get your dog’s vaccination and fecal records. We do need this information prior to administering a temperament test, creating a boarding reservation or checking your dog into Daycare. There is a $25 registration fee for all new clients unless you’re utilizing a Board & Train program. Please ensure your dog is wearing a flat collar when coming in for Daycare or Boarding
Please be sure to read our Policies & Procedures.
No. We do not subscribe to breed prejudice. We do separate dogs in the park by size & temperament. By providing a temperament test, we ensure that each dog that comes to The Common Dog is not dog aggressive and gets the most out of their time here with us.
Our overnight rate is like a hotel’s, check out is before noon. The boarding rate covers boarding for overnight and anything after 12 noon is considered a separate day.

Should we need to take your dog to the vet, we will try to reach to make you aware that he is being taken to the vet and why. We will also try to reach your Emergency Contact that we have on file. We utilize the veterinarian services of VCA Everett Hospital and Charlestown Veterinary Hospital. They are both within minutes of The Common Dog. We do bring your dog’s vaccination information so the veterinarian can speak with your vet if needed.
We find that if we did offer in home shuttle service your dog would spend more time commuting and less time playing.
